Crown Services, Inc. is a "roll up" of commercial roofing companies in California. Crown is the fourth largest roofing contractor in the US by virtue of this consolidation.

In light of the trend towards national consolidation of the commercial roofing trade to better service national real-estate holders, Crown planned to consolidate two discrete regional markets: the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles Basin.

With its platform acquisition of Royal Roofing completed, Crown sought to identify and acquire additional "tuck in" acquisitions to provide "best of breed" services in each of the five primary roofing disciplines.

Crown engaged Brereton, Hanley and Company to identify and negotiate six of the ten "founding company" acquisitions.

Brereton, Hanley facilitated roll up mergers with all target companies adding $30 million in incremental revenue to Crown.
